T-Mobile's Network in Northern Ireland

National Grid Wireless was awarded the fully outsourced development for T-Mobile’s mobile network in Northern Ireland. The network design and the completion of over 200 sites were completed in just 15 months. Since its launch in 2001, we have been maintaining T-Mobile’s GSM network in Northern Ireland and to date all agreed service levels have been exceeded.

National Grid Wireless used standard T-Mobile processes and systems to work with T-Mobile’s UK operation and subsequently maintain and operate the network. The design, build and operation of this network has given us unique and intimate knowledge of the T-Mobile systems, process and organisation. This case study outlines the depth of our interaction with the T-Mobile operation in the UK.
