Methodology

Our use of project management methodologies ensures that consistent work practices and controls are used across all projects and programmes. We employ a variety of rigorous project management methodologies including PRINCE 2 to ensure the success of every project we manage. The use of these techniques reduces disruption to an absolute minimum should changes occur to team personnel.

Consistency of approach is also ensured by making these methodologies part of our Quality Management System (QMS), which is accredited to ISO 9001 (2000). Our formal process of issue identification and risk management includes an escalation process within which our customers play an integral part. For instance, one of the ways in which we ensure the correct functioning of this process is by having a customer representative on the project board.

Tracking

We have developed an extensive online site database called 'KEEP' to track site share applications and for 'new site' rollout projects. 'KEEP' has the ability to monitor key milestone progress against forecast and schedule, and links into our project management and scheduling tool - Artemis, which automatically updates milestone schedule information into 'KEEP'.

'KEEP' is web enabled so no specialist software is required, only an Internet browser. This enables easy collaboration between project team members. Data held within 'KEEP' can be easily exported to office applications such as Excel for ease of reporting. We provide all of our major clients on a regular basis with a reported output in an agreed format for easy up-loading and processing. We also utilise 'KEEP' as the link between a number of other systems - ranging from finance to reporting - which invariably form part of the support systems used to track a site deployment process.
