National Grid Wireless launched its Excelerate initiative in September 2006. Quite simply, Excelerate has been created to help the company's staff succeed. And when they do, ensure that the Company can identify and reward this success.

National Grid Wireless recognises that it has some significant growth goals for the next three to five years and is determined that its staff have the knowledge and skills to meet the expected challenges.

Excelerate draws together a number of learning and development activities - such as Performance Management Workshops, Personal Development Plans and the staff recognition scheme - and represents a significant investment by National Grid Wireless in its staff.

The launch of Excelerate won a Gold PRide Award from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in November 2007.
