Welcome to Gateway the new online site access system for National Grid Wireless. Gateway and a new site access policy are the result of 18 months of development and testing with a wide range of users including customers and staff.

Gateway was launched at the beginning of June and we believe it will make the process of getting access to our sites easier and faster.

The key differences between the old and new systems are:

• A move to an online system and away from a paper based call centre.
• The creation of a "one stop shop" where we will take responsibility for obtaining any additional third party consents.
• No charge for Access Permits.
